NEW FOR 2012 we now offer the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician course. This class will prepare you for your Utah and NREMT testing to become an AEMT.
Class Hours: Monday and Thursday 1800-2200 hours, with a few Saturdays.
Class Begins: April 30th, 2012

During this course you will learn advanced level skills that will translate to better patient outcomes and improve your overall patient care techniques. You will learn these skills on up to date and high quality training equipment under the direction of our highly trained EMS instructor team.
The topics and skills you will learn during this course include: Advanced Airway Management, EKG recognition, Advanced Level Medications and their Administration,  and of course a deeper understanding of how the body works. All this translates to better care for your patients and better patient outcomes .
You will need to be a certified EMT to take this course, so if you just graduated from your EMT class and are waiting to take your Utah State exam, you can sign up...but if you are currently in EMT class you might want to wait until the next course is offered.
For those who would like to take this class and only have their NREMT certification, you can sign up, but will need to gain reciprocity in Utah before they will allow you certify in Utah or with NREMT as an AEMT.
